Internet marketing videos are the phenomenon everyone is talking about. Whatever it is we're selling, we need to drive traffic to our websites. Not only that, we need to do it in an entertaining and informative way.

Not long ago, virtually every website was just black and white text, and people were frightened to even add color or graphics to a website in case it meant that people with limited systems were unable to access the website. Now, in the world of broadband Internet and super powerful processors, we think nothing of producing streaming video.

Internet marketing videos are proving to be some of the most powerful tools available to the modern marketer. With video proving to be so popular, many of the sites which host videos have become amongst the most respected and favored sites by the search engines. This is helping marketers who have grasped the importance of this new trend to gain those invaluable high rankings. As the sites gain ever greater favor with the search engines, there is ever greater opportunity for marketers to exploit this.

Video is also one of the most useful and versatile teaching tools. The fact that you can use readily available screen capture software to produce easily understood tutorials about any aspect of using computers or the Internet makes it easy to provide quality, useful information to the viewer.

It is easy to teach the basics of any concept on a video site with massive traffic, and then expand upon that concept after people have clicked through to your site. This can be behind an area where people have to sign up to your list, or even behind an area of a paid membership site.

The video also makes it possible for you to get personal, and show yourself on screen. This is one way of creating empathy with your target audience. In many cases the viewer will relate to you better just by seeing your face, and realizing that you're a real person.

This personal aspect can dramatically increase conversions, and is now so easy to add to your marketing campaign, now the recording equipment is so cheap and easy to use. Provided you take a little bit of care to make sure recording conditions are right, you can produce some very good professional looking videos very cheaply, and with relatively little trouble.

Of course online Internet marketing videos really come into their own when you are setting a physical product which you can actually demonstrate in the video. You can show the viewer exactly what the product can do, and how it does it. You can vastly lessen the learning curve of a paying customer by allowing them to see how the tool works before they buy.

You can also develop a sense of wanting within the potential customer, making it far more likely they will choose to buy. These visual demonstrations can apply even to software products. Although screen capture is the usual way to demonstrate software, adding your own personal touch is never a bad thing. There is so much more you can do with Internet video than just with the written word.
